Suspenden Feria de nochebuena 2020 por COVID-19

Derivado del aumento de casos de COVID-19 en el estado, el Concejo Municipal de Huejutla dio a conocer la suspensión de la feria de Nochebuena en su edición 2020.
Lo anterior fue dado a conocer el pasado primero de Diciembre durante la ratificación de la reina de Nochebuena, donde se especificó que la corona seguirá portándola la ganadora del año pasado ya que este año se canceló el certamen para elegir a la sucesora.
Al respecto, la Presidenta del Concejo Municipal Interino señaló que «la decisión se tomó para salvaguardar la integridad de los Huejutlenses ya que actualmente en el Estado de Hidalgo nos encontramos en semaforización «naranja».
La presente pandemia impidió su organización en todos los aspectos, además, la mayoría de los artistas y grupos que comúnmente se presentan en los teatros del pueblo, han cancelado sus presentaciones temporalmente en este tipo de escenarios para evitar contraer el virus.
Actualmente el estado de Hidalgo reporta 19488 casos positivos, 4750 casos sospechosos y 2778 defunciones. Huejutla tiene 586 casos confirmados, 306 casos sospechosos y 89 defunciones.
